Text reads:
Dear Sir,
We are very much troubled of late by having our windows broken by stones thrown from without.
Some bad boys, I presume, who frequent the alley running by the schoolhouse do the mischief.
There are now eight panes broken - most of which have been broken since last Wednesday. Will you have the goodness to inform Mr. Paterson or the proper person, whom may have them replaced.
If any way can be thought of to put a stop to this vexatious conduct, I shall be glad.
